  • Take Courage retreat: Release & receive

    Saturday, November 3 from 9am-3pm in Ellipse Chapel


    All women ages 13+ are invited to our annual Take Courage retreat.  This is a very special day of listening to stories of women from every decade - from teens to 90s.  Our focus this year is the theme "Release & Receive" and we will be exploring the difficulty of letting go and the joy of receiving.   

    This year, our time together will feature: worship through music, 3 different panels, Con Pane lunch, bonding activities, and reflection time around the tables.

    Childcare for ages 0-4 is available for $10/child.

    Cost:  $25/person.  (Please let the church office know if you'd like a partial or full scholarship.)

    • 9:15am: Welcome, Prayer, & Worship Music9:45am: Panel of Voices from 90s, 80s, & 70s Decades
    • 10:45am: “Releasing” & Receiving" Activities
    • 11:15am: Panel of Voices from 60s, 50s, & 40s Decades
    • 12:15pm: Lunch from Con Pane
    • 1pm: Panel of Voices from 30s, 20s, Teen Decades
    • 2pm: Worship Music & Closing
    • 3pm: Benediction

  • Mothers of Preschoolers: Our MOPS ON THE POINT Group!

    We are so thrilled with our wonderful year of MOPS!  We have two monthly meetings. First Friday mornings & Third Thursday evenings.

    To RSVP for the 2018-2019 MOPS Season, please fill out our RSVP FORM.


    MOPS meetings are a time to connect with other parents, learn from women in our community, grow in discipleship, and enjoy a space of rest and care. Childcare for children ages 0-4 will be provided. 

    Meetings take place from 9-11am on the first Fridays of the month and 7-8:30pm on the third Thursdays of the month. If you would like more info or to join the email list, please contact MOPS Coordinator, Kayla Walker, at MOPSonthePoint@gmail.com.

  • Kindred Spirits:  Monthly Women's Book Club

    On the second Wednesday of the month, all women are welcome to join the "Kindred Spirits" book club for a time of fellowship and learning.  Linda Sturak is graciously opening her home for the first book club meeting of the Fall on September 12th from 9:30-11:30am for a discussion of the September book selection.

    The monthly book selections for Fall 2018 are:

    November: Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

    December: The Women of Christmas by Liz Curtis Higgs
