Women's MInistry

we believe women's ministry should be characterized by authenticity, community, celebration, & discipleship.  take a look below at the ways we gather and contact melissa with any questions or if you desire to join our core planning team: melissatucker@sdfcnaz.com.

  • Women's TEA:  Saturday, June 16

Saturday, June 16 from 2-4pm in Ellipse Chapel

All women ages 10+ are invited to our annual Women's Tea!   There is a suggested donation of $10/person.   It is a truly special time for all our women to gather around a special meal, hear thoughtful reflection from women in our church, and connect with each other in meaningful ways.

  • Mothers of Preschoolers: Our MOPS ON THE POINT Group!

We are so thrilled with our wonderful year of MOPS!  We have two monthly meetings. First Friday mornings & Third Thursday evenings.

To RSVP for the 2018-2019 MOPS Season, please fill out our RSVP FORM.

MOPS meetings are a time to connect with other parents, learn from women in our community, grow in discipleship, and enjoy a space of rest and care. Childcare for children ages 0-4 will be provided.

Meetings take place from 9-11am on the first Fridays of the month and 7-8:30pm on the third Thursdays of the month. If you would like more info or to join the email list, please contact MOPS Coordinator, Kayla Walker, at MOPSonthePoint@gmail.com.

  • Kindred Spirits:  Monthly Women's Book Club

On the second Wednesday of the month, all women are welcome to join the "Kindred Spirits" book club for a time of fellowship and learning.  Linda Sturak is graciously opening her home for the first book club meeting of the Fall on September 12th from 9:30-11:30am for a discussion of the September book selection.

The monthly book selections for Fall 2018 are:

September: God Hides in Plain Sight by Dean Nelson

October: A Love Like Ours by Becky Wade

November: Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

December: The Women of Christmas by Liz Curtis Higgs
