WE'RE INVITING YOU TO JOIN US:

As a church located in a border region, we have to ask ourselves how we can be a good neighbor to the thousands of displaced people on both sides of the border.  We are called to care for the vulnerable and welcome the stranger (Matthew 25:35-40).

We are partnering with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) Mexico's Medical Brigade (operating clinics at the major shelters in Tijuana) and the Nazarene Border Initiative.  While we are focusing our efforts mainly on the needs in Tijuana - the majority of migrants are there - we are also promoting volunteer and donation needs at the San Diego shelter, as well.  See boxes below for a look at how to be involved.

This opportunity is not about political viewpoints, opinions regarding asylum, or concerns about migration legislation.  This is about an urgent humanitarian need, and we are grateful to be in a position to help.  Below, you'll find various ways to be involved.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Pastor Melissa Tucker or PLNU Campus Pastor Liliana Reza.
