Every Sunday, we have the opportunity to gather in worship, praise, confession, and lament through music, prayer, and the Word of God. We believe in the power of music to create space and facilitate an environment for rest, vulnerability, and openness to God. The lyrics and melodies we sing and play help us to craft our praises and thanksgivings for God’s faithfulness while also inviting us to love one another and to seek justice for our community and world. 

Our mission in our worship gatherings is to lift up Christ... together. We believe that worship through singing and playing music provides an opportunity to both lift up Christ and give God unique access to our hearts and lives. We do this in our music by engaging with songs that have shaped the Church for centuries as well as songs that speak to our current cultural context. We seek to be inspired and moved by God’s spirit in all forms of musical worship.

In order to lead worship music in our church, we need humble volunteers to do it well. Our mission is not only to excel in our crafts, but to also provide a worship offering to God and an offering that ministers to our people.
